Statements

Tourism Councilor Roberta Alverà, promoter of the initiative, said: “With the ‘Cortina for All’ competition, we want to raise awareness and involve as many people as possible to turn Cortina into an example of accessibility and inclusion, not only in view of the major sporting events of 2026, but also for the future. Our city must be a place where people of all ages and abilities can experience and enjoy the beauty of the area without barriers or limitations. I’m thinking, for example, not only of people with disabilities , but also of the elderly, pregnant women, children in strollers, or those who are temporarily in difficulty due to an injury, and wish to enjoy a relaxing stay in Cortina.”
