During the period of the Games, circulation was regulated by specific Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL).

For those who traveled by car, parking areas outside the ZTLs were available, both in the direction of the Boite di Cadore valley and towards Toblach (South Tyrol), connected to the city center and race venues by buses and shuttles.

Parking spaces had to be reserved online and were metered.

Interchange parking lots

On the occasion of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, interchange parking lots outside the LTZs have been identified, connected to the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo and the competition sites through dedicated transportation services.

The interchange parking lots identified were:

  • Longarone – about 350 places
  • San Vito di Cadore – about 950 places
  • Acquabona – about 50 places (intended for users with reduced mobility)
  • Toblach – about 2,000 places
  • Son dei Prade – about 150 seats

Methods of access, reservation and use of parking lots, as well as connections via buses and shuttles, had been communicated through official channels.
